Stereophonics formed in 1992 and was originally known as "Tragic Love Company," taking one word from each member's favourite band. The band first consisted of Kelly Jones (vocals/guitar and songwriter), Richard Jones (bass), and Stuart Cable (drums). Cable was fired by the other two members of the band in September 2003, and the band replaced him on the road with the former drummer for The Black Crowes, Steve Gorman. After a decade's worth of studio albums (4 number 1's) the band scored its first number 1 single with Dakota, the first single of their fifth album . The recording of this album demanded the inclusion of a new drummer, Argentinian-Venezuelan Javier Weyler.

Stereophonics

I feel the wash close down the street yet chaplin walks feet nine fifteen
And I hear them call his name and I see him turn away they take him in
And clean him up they take him in and strip him down dry his skin and feed him wine
And I hear them call his name and I see him turn away asks to use the phone yet he
Lives alone he lives alone theres no one home to phone sits alone home alone calls
His hone his own wife is still unknown
